Dear Krishna and Chitta,

On the news we hear talk about the hostilities in Kashmir because of transfer of land (...) to the organisation of a Hindu-shrine.

Objectively speaking, Amarnath is a (divine) ice-sculpture that returns every year in a large cave that was discovered by a Musselman. I am not sure if the term 'Hindu-shrine' is understood well in this regard.

Last year i wrote a letter to the governor of J&K opting to make the pelgrimage more universal. Tourism is necessary for Kashmir. Best is international, cultural tourism. Not only dope-smoking, young Israeli's.

The Amarnath-pelgrimage can be positioned as one of the top-three pelgrimages in the world. One being the hardest (Hadj), one being the longest ('Compostella'?) and one being the highest (Amarnath). The Indian army protects this pelgrimage very well. It is a safe journey. The Indian army is not Hindu but a multi-cultural and well-trained army.

I suggested Dr. Karan Singh to lobby among crown-princes to yearly make this pelgrimage as a new tradition. It may take some effort but would be interesting. The Himalaya is the highest mountain-range in the world. Kashmir is the most Northern province of India; the largest democracy in the world. It is the embodiment of mythology and universality (high thought).

The Party for International Royalism could also make a point of this. At least the Indian branch. I founded the PIR in the Netherlands last year but still need to register it in the electorate. For that i need a notary and clear statement of the principles, creed and objectives. My idea is that the Party joins elections in several suitable countries worldwide and each national chapter has certain clauses in common and also adepts to the national circumstances. Netherlands being a monarchy and democracy and India being a republic and democracy e.g. Yet the PIR in India can try to reinvigorate the feudal system (royalty) in an improved way.

We should not forget that now democracy is possible in a much more complete way because with the wide mobile network and wide availability of internet, a ruler can consult the people on important issues once such a system is set in place with clear identification and authenticitation. The tribalism in India is what makes it beautiful, not the capitalism or democracy.

Political parties are becoming and even making themselves obsolete. It is such a limited scope (left - right). People do not feel to determine themselves on this outdated scale of left or right anymore.

Many Buddhists still await the Maitreya who is to perfect and complete Buddhism. Perhaps we can find the exact, authentic sources. Somewhere in Hinduism is the expectation of the Kalki. The Jews still await their king/messiah. Some of the Muslims await the Mahdi who clearly is to totally renew Islam. There are other prophesies. There is also exisiting royalty who is perhaps willing to make alliance with such a divine intervention. We can study where or how some of these different streams can unite and turn it into a political, democratic power by making a clear manifest and joining elections so that over the coming 20 years, we can build up a certain presence in the media and be noticed in the political scene.

In 1979 a revolution took place in Iran to prepare the country and population for the arrival of the Mahdi. The government rules in anticipation of Him. Also to prepare for His return and coming out of occultation. This inspires a certain nobility in people to transcend the ego and to unite for a higher purpose. This is a clear way to discover unity in vareity. The world is so diverse. How will a leap forward look like in the form-principle?

These thoughts i wanted to share with you hoping we will also establish a new political presence in India and hoping Dr. Karan Singh will get involved as the son of the late Maharadja of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh and as former Sadar-i-Riyasat (Head-of-State) who made the Amarnath-pelgrimage himself.

Heartily greetingsz,

Ralph Ali Nataraj.
